Phentermine tablets are a prescription medication used to help reduce both appetite and food craving in eligible patients. Phentermine is an FDA-approved appetite suppressant that has been widely used to help support weight management when used in conjunction with diet and exercise.
Phentermine is an indirect sympathomimetic agent that works by activating the sympathetic nervous system. It acts as a norepinephrine-dopamine releasing agent (NDRA), elevating levels of norepinephrine and dopamine in the brain.
